Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US. She is a Greek-American writer, syndicated journalist and a businesswoman. She founded The Huffington Post and the chief executive officer of Thrive Global. Author of more than 15 books. Arianna Huffington is an independent liberal news website, is a television personality, author, and an philanthropist. Her birthplace was in Greece and moved to England at the age of sixteen. At Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in Economics. The well-known debating club The Cambridge Union was her first presidency and she did it when she was 21. She became an author for a conservative newspaper after the graduation ceremony and, when The Huffington Post launched a few years later, she developed an online voice platform that offered criticisms on the political landscape. It was possible for her to recruit many prominent contributors to share their views about politics and culture. Arianna's celebrity status started in 2003, after she declared herself an independent candidate in the California recall vote to replace Governor Davis. In addition, she led an Detroit project to promote the use of fuel-efficient cars. Forbes listed her as one of the "most influential woman" within the field of media with her ranking at the 12th spot. Guardian placed her on their list of 100 most influential media people in 2009. The Huffington Post was joined by other AOL brands, including Engadget AOLmusic Style list or Patch Media. Elli is the child of Konstantinos, a management and journalism consultant. She was very close with her father, but it was her bond with her mother who has shaped her. As a child, she showed leadership traits that she's still known for. When she was 16 she moved into the United Kingdom to pursue her education and was enrolled at Girton College Cambridge. She enrolled in the Cambridge Union college debate society during her time at college and was the first woman to be elected president. She graduated in 1972 with an advanced degree in Economics. She worked as a critic television host, and a columnist after her graduation. She appeared alongside Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began writing the books she wrote with Bernard Levin's aid.
