Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born April 16, 1996 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish her parents are Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. Their father was Argentine with Scottish and English heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. There are five siblings, four from her father's previous marriage. The family was based within Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria part of London. Taylor-Joy said that it was an emotional move and that she was unable to go back to school in English in the hope of go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. She then enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in productions. After 16 she left the school to make a career out of acting. As a child, Taylor-Joy had a dream to pursue a career as an actress. her goals were realized when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
